The spectacular coastal walking trail linking the village of Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher and on to Hags Head and Liscannor starts right outside Sea View House. The full trail from Doolin to Liscannor is 18 km long but the section from Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher is 8km long and takes about 2 hrs each way.
This walk is a much better alternative to just driving to the visitors centre at the Cliffs Of Moher which is about 5km from Sea View House. The trail starts on the road here in Doolin which leads into a gravel track which for the most part is a remote trail, with no barriers, handrails or seaward fencing until you get to the and protected paths at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre.
The Cliffs of Moher reach their maximum height of 214 metres just before O’Brien’s Tower at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre, 8 km from Doolin.
Please be aware that the trail may be rough and uneven in places with loose gravel and stone and requires an ability to adapt
to sudden and possibly extreme changes in weather and a level of physical ability to undertake a demanding length of walk in adverse conditions.
